Sound has been used for centuries as a way to facilitate meditation, and more and more research is proving that sound baths and sound therapy have a soothing and relaxing effect on the nervous system. Sound meditation has also been shown to reduce symptoms of depression, stress, and even anger.

8 Week Training
8 Tuesdays, 7 to 9pm
Offered in Spring and Fall
Weekend Intensive Training
Friday 6 to 10pm
Saturday 10 to 4pm
Sunday 10 to 4pm

Sessions include lecture, discussion, demonstration of techniques, and hands-on practice.
There will be homework and exercises for you to practice at home, and consultation with your instructor if you would like expert advice on building your instrument collection. There is an optional certification process for an additional fee.

About your instructor
Tracy Sage King has created thousands of sound baths and sound therapy sessions. While she has studied with many masters over the years, it is her extensive experience and intuitive listening as a professional Sound Therapist and Sound Bath Practitioner that has had the most profound effect on her ability to create unique therapeutic and amazing sound experiences.
Tracy has been a member of the Meditation Bar team since 2018, and she has been the studio owner since 2019. She has taught adults for more than twenty years and has been leading meditation and inner inquiry for more than six. Tracy is a an expert in creating and holding sacred space, and is a natural, experienced, and award-winning teacher.
