Ironically, looking into adding meditation to your life can be quite overwhelming. We get it. There is a lot of information out there about meditation, mindfulness, the different types of meditation, and the benefits of meditation. And, oh so many options--apps, recordings, livestreams, self-guided.
The truth is, most people living in our culture are not naturally good at meditating. It takes practice to train our brains to quiet down and not demand stimulation. It takes a while to be able to just observe the sensations that arise when we unplug from the outside world and go within.
The truth is, it is not likely you will leave your first meditations blissed out and floating in the clouds. It takes practice, but the practice is so worth it.

It is our mission to make meditation accessible. We don’t have beginning or advanced classes. Most of our classes are a combination of many types of meditation that work for beginners and masters.
So, pick a class that sounds interesting and just start.

Let Shift Happen
Check out our Shift Happens: Meditation 101, our signature program for those new to meditation. Shift Happens: Meditation 101 is a ten week, 22 hour course designed to dispel meditation myths, help you know that you can meditate, and get you immediately successful in a meditation practice. We offer this program two times a year.
Get Some Relief
If the main reason you want to meditate is for stress relief, our Shift Happens: Mindfulness for Stress Relief program may be for you. Shift Happens: Mindfulness for Stress Relief is designed to walk you through everything you need to fully understand mindfulness and experience the profound effects it can have on your life. We offer this program three times a year.

You don’t have to figure it all out by yourself. Our credentialed and talented instructors can answer your questions, go over your meditation goals, evaluate the meditation style that suits you best, and help you design a meditation practice that is accessible and that fits your life.
